Electronics Workshop Helps Students Build Practical Skills in Szombathely
Students in Szombathely recently completed a five-month Electronics Workshop supported by Ivy Technology, combining technical learning with hands-on experience in electronics, measurement, assembly, and soldering.
The Ivy training workshop served as the technical base for the programme, welcoming 10 participants for weekly two-hour sessions. During the course, students worked on a range of practical projects, including workshop lamps, a quartz oscillator ECHO circuit, a high-power FET driver, a binary-decimal converter, and a hand-wound energy vampire transformer.
Environmental awareness was also an important part of the programme. Some of the circuits were built using recycled components recovered from the company’s electronic waste, giving students an opportunity to explore how technical knowledge and responsible use of resources can work together.
By providing access to practical learning and technical expertise, the workshop helped students develop new skills while gaining first-hand experience of electronics in a professional environment.
